PicMe awarded the PEPITE Grand Est Regional startup prize!

PicMe, a start-up powered by NEOMA BS Incubators, is one of the Grand Est Region’s five PEPITE award-winning projects. A fantastic acknowledgement of the entire team’s achievements since the concept was launched in 2019.

PicMe is a platform designed by and for photographers, providing them with a high-performance work solution that generates new opportunities, whilst guaranteeing maximum freedom. Originally targeting the tourism, events and leisure sectors, PicMe needed to revise its business model in light of the ongoing health crisis. Following the “PicMe @Home” initiative created during lockdown, the start-up set about developing a quick and efficient, user-friendly QR-code card system. The principle? From wherever they are, photographers can respond to a customer request. They scan the card, complete the shoot, then give the code to the customer who can then access and purchase their photos online. The system is perfectly suited to photographers, whose profession means they tend to be out and about and on the move. PicMe aims to develop this idea in time for the upsurge in “normal” activity as soon as the pandemic is over.

Meanwhile, PicMe is undergoing a revamp and moving into the B to B sector, making the services of their partner photographers available to companies for events, internal news reports and individual or team photo shoots.

So, in this particularly unusual context, Martin Cregut, PicMe co-founder, has received the Regional Peppite Prize of 1,000 euros. “We are absolutely delighted to win this award. This is a genuine acknowledgment of everything we have achieved so far and the efforts we are making every day to get through this difficult situation.”

The entire team recently set up office in a Communication agency’s premises in Paris and taken on the services of four work-study students to help develop the technical and commercial side of the project.

Congratulations once more on this new development, a perfect illustration of the NEOMA community’s agility!
