BESMART-EDU: HIGHER EDUCATION FOR ALL

10 September 2019 By

With the support of NEOMA Business School, Danielle Tchana (MBA Full-time 2017), founder of BeSMART-edu, plans to make access to prestigious engineering schools possible for all young students.

The BeSMART-edu start-up aims to provide students with online preparation for Business School entrance exams via a digital tablet and a vide-conference system. Launched in 2018, BeSMART-edu has already found its first clients across Europe.“For the 2018-2019 school year, our students were able to obtain grades of up to 20/20 in maths for their Science Baccalaureate. 80% of our students passed their baccalaureate with distinction and all our students passed their PACES Health Studies entrance exams at the first attempt,” Daniella announces proudly.

Supported by NEOMA BS Incubators, Daniella was also part of the first NEOMA EdTech Accelerator cohort. Being part of this 3-month acceleration programme has really enabled her to enhance her network, understand her customer profiles better and build a solid development strategy.

Development is ongoing today with the Diversidays support programme in Paris and she is currently seeking additional funding. The growth of this start-up that aims to promote the values of openness and social inclusion shared by its socially-invested founder is certainly worth keeping an eye on!
